Skye Earns Her Brownies Badge...

Northern Inuit "Skye" been acting as an ambassador for our breed. A Brownies group in Basingstoke have enjoyed a session with Skye at a local PAH store. Skye's owner, who works at PAH and is also an NIS member, enjoyed helping the Brownies to achieve their 'friends of animals badges' with a talk and some interaction, first with some rabbits before introducing the star of the show "Skye".

Around fifteen 9-11 year old girls were allowed to enjoy  stroking her, touching her paws,
ears, muzzle, tail, there was nowhere these little hands didn't roam. Skye, as you would expect, was a great example of how child friendly our Northern Inuits are, and soaked up all the attention like a sponge. So impressed were the bosses at PAH that they have asked for Skye not only to be a regular visitor for the children but also to assist in training their staff to fit harnesses etc. Well done to Skye, I think she's trully earned her Brownie Badge...

Wolf Sponsorship

The Northern Inuit Society have agreed to sponsor two wolves at The Combe Martin Wildlife Park, North Devon. Our sponsorship will help to feed and house the wolves and to fund research for wild wolf projects throughout the world.
It was a tough choice to make but these are the two Wolves that our members have chosen to sponsor.
